In April 2010 Combined Financial Processing Limited (CFP) which acted as a bureau for 36 different credit unions was acquired by TransAction Solutions (TAS) . TAS specialises in providing hosted, managed services for small to medium sized businesses and provides services for around 45% of the credit union market.
At the time of the sale TAS projected a transition of all the clients systems and software hosting to its data processing centres at Silverwater and Belrose by August and planned for a “big bang” weekend changeover on the 21st and 22nd August.
As all the former CFP clients were running on the Ultradata core banking solution Ultradata was a key partner with TAS on this project with resources dedicated on the ground to the task for several weeks prior to the big day to ensure a smooth transition for the credit unions moving and most importantly minimal impact on their clients banking services.
As one of the single largest transfers of banking technology and systems ever in Australia we are pleased the results were fantastic - with the move completed on time, on schedule and below budget and most importantly minimal downtime for the credit union clients.
Guy Light CEO of TAS commented –
the commitment of Ultradata ensured the success of such a large and complex undertaking…..it shows the professionalism of all the staff involved in implementing a project with so many critical milestones
