Credit Union Successfully Migrates to the Ultradata Credit Union
Solution
RegionalOne Credit Union (RegionalOne) became the
fourth early adopter to migrate to the Ultradata Credit Union Solution,
and successfully went live on Monday 16 May 2005. RegionalOne utilises
the services of Combined Financial Processing (CFP), becoming the
second early adopter to migrate to this IDPC platform.

and dedication throughout this project. The commitment demonstrated
by all parties involved has ensured another successful project delivery,”
said Peter Henshaw, Chief Executive Officer of Ultradata.
The implementation of RegionalOne has been delivered
in a staged approach due to the unique setup of the credit union.
RegionalOne commenced operation on 1 July 2004 as a result of a
merger between Ballarat based, GoldCredit (GOLD), and Bendigo based,
North West Country Credit (NWCC). Stage one of the conversion project
involved the database migration from CorvisFCS and Swift Call’s
Internet banking product to the Ultradata Credit Union Solution.
The second phase will focus on combining GOLD and NWCC’s Ultradata
databases to take full advantage of Ultradata’s offering.
This second phase will take place later this calendar year.
Robert Moore, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of RegionalOne
said, “Once this database consolidation
has been achieved we will focus on business process improvement
to maximise the effectiveness of the Ultradata Credit Union Solution.”
Reflecting on the implementation as an early adopter
site, Mr Moore noted: “We did have
some migration issues to deal with after going live, however, as
an early adopter this was expected. What was important was that
we were able to contain the majority of these issues to the back
office, causing minimal disruption to members. Our staff have been
fantastic right throughout the migration process. Staff are now
more familiar and confident with the system and recognise the potential
that the system will deliver going forward.”
