Ultradata Clients Successfully Migrate to First Data TCP/IP Connectivity

Early this year one of Australia's largest ATM EFTPOS transaction switching providers, First Data, announced major changes in the way it connected to financial institutions with different hardware and software configuration, and changes to the Telstra data line technology. Virtually all Ultradata clients were impacted by this change, which has a "drop dead" implementation date of the 1st April 2010.

Ultradata is proud to announce that updated software to assist with the First Data changes is completed and the first client sites are now going live. The data processing bureau, TransAction Solutions (TAS), was the first on the 23rd November 2009.

Over the next months, we will be working with the rest of our clients to meet the First Data deadline for migration to the TCP/IP network.
