In June, Unity Bank successfully launched Apps for both brands - Reliance Bank and Unity Bank.

Collaborating with various project teams within Ultradata, Unity Bank effectively migrated from the CUSCAL banking App, to Ultradata’s Ultracs App 2 release 3.

Sighting an opportunity to leverage off their need to migrate from the ceased CUSCAL platform, Unity Bank furthered their commercial investment with the decision to offer a new suite of App functions to provide its’ members an overall better banking and user experience;

These additional App functions have positioned Unity Bank and Reliance Bank customers in good stead. Customers will be able to self-service and manage their everyday banking needs, efficiently and seamlessly without relying on the middleman and give customers back precious personal time.

The introduction of the ability to self-manage password resets in both the new App and in internet banking, helped ensure a smooth transition for Unity and Reliance members. Promoting this feature to members in the lead up to the launch, assisted to achieve a successful migration.

The extra cyber security measures available and digital management ownership of these functions, will allow customers to not only feel empowered, but comfortable in the knowledge that they can protect themselves by owning and managing their cyber security to remain cyber safe and cyber secure.
